Long-time readers may remember this from the old PoHT site — I still have a lot of old archives to repost. This pink Avenger spent years sitting on the roof of Parkhurst Motors in Belleville, Ontario, Canada… When I saw it, I pulled in and asked them about it and they told me that when they’d hoisted it up there, it was a running car and was in theory still for sale if someone was willing to pay to get it down. Well, last time I drove through Belleville I noticed that it was no longer there.
I think this is a modified Fiberfab Avenger [edit: yes, it is], but I’m not 100% sure so any feedback is appreciated. Maybe I’m just tired, haha. Anyway, it’s up for sale in the Hesperia at an asking price of $3,500 — write jjor8cer17@verizon.net if you’re interested.
This Avenger GT12 (contact wacotxman1@aol.com) is up for sale in Waco, Texas. It needs a lot of work (you’re basically just buying a body — although it looks to be in decent shape), but the price may be right at $1,000.
George thought he was selling an Avenger GT15X but because it’s mounted on a square tube chassis, not a VW pan, I think he’s actually selling a Fiberfab Valkyrie. The engine (a 110 HP Corvair 6-cylinder with a “Spider” Carter 4-barrel AFB and headers) runs and much of the hard work is done — he just finished installing the steering — but there is definitely still much left to complete it and any buyer should be mechanically competent. The car is located in San Jose. If you’re interested, contact George at boothandassoc@sbcglobal.net.
You don’t see that many kit cars for sale in Canada, so I thought I’d point out that an Avenger has just been posted to Kijiji (#84673164) in Devon, Alberta (near Edmonton). It’s on a 1600cc VW chassis and “runs great” but needs interior work.
I just noticed this old Fiberfab ad on eBay…

Andy (atowtruck@yahoo.com) in Seattle is selling this interesting Avenger project for an asking price of $2,000. He’s grafted the normally VW-based Avenger body onto a Fiero chassis — a great project for the ambitious builder.
The rear fin is off a ‘93 Eagle Talon by the way.
