Mystery VW-Corvair Sportbuggy

The eBay seller (item #180015447666, ending on the 13th of August) of this “sportbuggy” in Fortville, IN says that it’s one of two cars produced, with this being the only one still in existence. It looks to me like a VW buggy a la a Vokaro — a simple small body dropped on a shortened VW chassis. In this case the stock engine appears to have been swapped for a Corvair engine. If anyone knows more about the car, please post!

    Greetings,
I believe it is a Volkaro, but look close, it appears the front and rear suspention is also from the Corvair,
Imagine if this car ever ran what fast fun it had to be,
    Cheers,
    P.
