This very dusty Ferrari F40 replica on a Fiero chassis is currently in Dubai, originally imported from the United States. A potential buyer was asking me if I had any idea who the original manufacturer was… From these photos, can anyone tell?

It looks like the Exotic Illusions F40 built around 1990-92 in Costa Mesa CA. There was another kit on the market at that time made by “Sweet Speed Motorsports” in Gardena, CA that did not look as exact as this kit.

HELLO everyone from South Portugal. This Ferrari F40 replica model could well be a MARAUDER FERRARI F40 made in the USA by MARAUDER MOTORS INC in Potomac Illinnois. They are specialist manufacturers of hand made good quality known classic exotics and other supercars from the 1970s and 1980s like rare Chevron and Lola cars.
All their cars use American V8 engines of many types.
Another possibility is a rare american mid 1980s XTC F40 lookalike that used Fiero chassis and platforms for its cars. XTC Inc of the USA started to build Testarossa replicas using V8 mechanicals and later made F40 lookalikes too.

It looks to me like its probably a Toyota MR2 MK1,with a ferrari bodykit on it. Im pretty sure that that is what it is.

the ferrari f40 looks like a toyota mr2 mk1 with a shell on it. i have done research on this and i am sure that this is the case.
as good as it looks or should look. this is not a real ferrari F40. u should b able to tell. and no body would ever let such a beautiful car like the F40 get in this state. FAKE

That car was 1 of 3 made by Wolfgang shultz, it was molded from a real F40. The first one was black and was at Carisle 95. The 2nd is for sale on ebay at the moment:

this is a mr2 with a f40 body kit part done this is not a real ferrari lads as i have nearly the same thing on my mr2!
if you look at the back panel you can see that the rear end matchs with the roof where on the mr2 it fades down this is a mr2

that does not look like a fake F40, LOL, it is in dubai. most cars are authentic. consider the wrecked murcielagos that lie in the desert. i think that is an authentic F40 left for the scrap heap. it is in DUBAI!!! no one cares for these cars.
