Monster Truck Camaro

IMG_9723.jpgI have to admit that I don’t know much about this car… it just happened to be parked up the street from me so I took some pictures. Obviously it’s an old Camaro body on top of a 4×4 chassis (Bronco, Jeep, whatever, I didn’t look closely because I wasn’t alone and didn’t have too much time). I’m going to guess and say that unless there’s a lot more engine in it than I’m thinking that the asking price is somewhere in the $2000 range, but who knows… sometimes people have funny ideas about what things are worth.

Anyway, here’s a few more pictures. Oh, and it’s located in Toronto, Ontario. If you find out that it’s sold, please drop me a line so I can note that here.

Hey, it may not be a kit car, but it’s definitely homebuilt!

It’s a 79′ Camaro on a 79′ Chevy Blazer frame.. But he didnt notch the floor under the rear seats so the ass end is about 3″ inches too high.. Gotta love how he crushed the front skirt and didnt make any regulation bumpers.. Made one of these a good 20 years ago.. You couldnt roll one block without getting pulled over.. Good thing dad was a cop! - Rob

Things like this get built more often than you think. when I was living in Vermont, in the late 1980s, there was a (82 —>) camaro mounted on a 4X4 truck frame in Wallingford.

Whomever owned it definately used it for mud bogging.

In 2001 in Schenectady, NY, there was someone who had done this with an mid 80s cadilliac fleetwood as well.

In the 90’s there was a 4 X 4 Pinto on Long Island called Pack Man - yeah - it was bright yellow
